QLDC Winter Road Report - 26 August 2023Good morning, Nothing major to report this morning - the road surfaces are dry across the district, with temperatures ranging from 1°c. to 7°c. But don't get too complacent! The forecast says showers may develop this afternoon with snow lowering to 1,200 metres. Then tomorrow the snow could lower to 400 metres. This could affect the Crown Range in particular so please make sure you have chains in the boot and you know how to fit them when needed. As usual, we'll keep you updated. And for those of you who have been wondering all week how Campbell's back is doing - you're in luck. He'll be making a special one off appearance tomorrow morning so he'll be able to update you on that, and morning road conditions... obviously. If you do spot any issues on the roads this morning, give us a call on 03 441 0499. Safe travels
