COMING SOON: FALL BREAKTHROUGH TO SELF-EMPOWERMENT Early Bird tuition until Aug. 16 (noon) So many ‘ah-ha’ moments have been reported by participants in this relatively new and very exciting program, now growing each semester. We have extended our program time to two hours from our original 1 ½ hrs. To help accommodate the depth of learning that has become typical of our Q.&A. Program. The Breakthrough to Self-Empowerment Ayurveda Mentorship Program is designed for recent Ayurveda graduates and senior students, and for newer practitioners. Case Management is our structure, to reference the classical ‘Ashta Vidha Pariksha’ or Eight-Fold Assessment theories for practice building. Detailed assessments leading to various possible Ayurveda suggestions are shared. A new closed Facebook group for continuing our Q.&A., news bulletins, events, studies and features is now available for all past and present participants, a growing sacred circle for supporting one another’s stable professional development. Investment for this program is still $315, though the number of contact hours has increased from 12 to 14 hrs. After Aug. 16 at noon, the tuition investment is $345. Past Participant Comments: ‘I am so very grateful to Jaisri for this precious opportunity to study with her. She offers her vast knowledge of Ayurveda so generously and in an easy-to-understand way. Many, many thanks! Namaste.’ A.T., IT Expert, Swaroopa Yoga Teacher ‘This was my first Breakthrough Mentorship course, and I truly saw how beneficial it is to connect with Ayurveda colleagues, hear their stories, and listen to their feedback and wisdom, notwithstanding Jaisri’s extraordinary stream of consciousness on all topics near and far. She is truly a gem.’ M.W., Physiotherapist NAMA PACE Credits apply to member participants. Please request your Certificate of Attendance in advance, please. This program is growing into being offered twice a year, during the Fall and Spring semesters, online by Zoom from 10am-noon Pacific Time. New members welcome!

To help avoid heat stroke or even vascular strain to the very susceptible cranial circulation, think about giving yourself a luxurious Bhringaraj Shirobhyanga or Ayurveda head massage with Bhringaraj (Eclipta Alba) Oil. https://www.banyanbotanicals.com/bhringaraj-oil/ Bhringaraj oil has been used since time immemorial to help slow the mind, sedate anxiety and cool the inner friction of heated thoughts. Bhringaraj is nourishing the serotonin cycle and relaxing to pitta-type of stressful thoughts, such as frustrations, comparisons and criticisms. Choose a time to relax and invest in your self-care, without distractions. On an empty stomach, apply the oil in sections to your scalp. Apply the oil and massage the head/neck/shoulders for about ten minutes. Now completely and deeply relax for meditation, with oil towels protecting your furniture or yoga mat. A quiet mind can become a creative mind, and a new perspective arises by itself. The deep relaxation of a brain whose cranium is absorbing medicated Bhringaraj oil (see recipe below) can easily luxuriate in quiet, slow self-awareness and recognition of the divinity within. After about 45 minutes, shower and put on fresh clothes. All self-care investments pay very worthwhile dividends, to help maintain balance, especially as the world shifts and changes. Regular practices help to keep a steady rhythm and the agility to adapt. Medicated Oil Recipe: * 1 cup of powdered herbs such as Brahmi, Bhringaraj, Guduchi, etc * 16 cups filtered water Simmer together until only 4 cups of water remain. Place a wooden utensil in the liquid. Be carefully attentive to the process. Ensure good ventilation and safety. * Use the cooking mantra throughout: Om Aim Hrim Klim Chamundaya Vicche * Remove from heat, cover cool, and strain well * Add 4 cups of one carrier substance (perhaps sesame oil, sunflower oil, ghee, etc.) * Boil off the remaining water. Be very careful not to burn the valuable mixture * Remove from heat, cover, cool, and strain well * Store in a clean food-grade squeeze bottle with a flip-top lid * Label and date your containers
