Each day of the campaign will focus on a different action area from the UHC Action Agenda that countries cannot neglect. Spotlight on Universal Health Coverage:Webinar on assessing expectations ahead of the UN High-Level Meeting on UHCAs we approach the second UN High-Level Meeting on UHC, this Lancet webinar will bring together actors representing governments, donors, WHO and academia, including Gabriela Cuevas Barron (UHC2030 Steering Committee’s co-chair) and Joy Phumaphi (UHC Movement Political Advisory Panel). The webinar will focus on discussing their expectations and demands for the UHC Movement during and after the HLMs and will end with a live Q&A.
UN High-Level Meetings on Health:Webinar on keeping the momentum highThe Coalition of Partnerships for UHC and Global Health will host a high-level webinar ahead of the SDG Summit and HLMs on UHC, pandemic prevention, preparedness and response, and tuberculosis. This webinar is meant to rally countries to commit to ambitious, equitable, and people-centered actions and to encourage coherence, drive momentum and engage the highest level of decision-makers.
#UHCHLM Chat on UHC andLeaving No One BehindUHC2030 and CSEM are coordinating a #UHCHLM chat on the importance of achieving UHC based on primary health care and of connecting UHC to health security. The event will include UHC champions and key actors from UN agencies, civil society organizations, academia and the private sector. The focus will be on how UHC is vital to leaving no-one behind. UHC2030 Secretariat is provided by the World Health Organization, the World Bank and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. |
