I have heard about some of the students' holiday adventures and am looking forward to hearing many more recounts about the varied and exciting holiday experiences. Important Information![]() Whole School AssemblyTo start the term, on Tuesday our Years ![]() New Music BuildingNot only has it been a seamless start to the term with our pupils quickly and excitedly getting back to their learning programme, but the children have also been thrilled to see and use the new Music building. Class and peripatetic Music classes will be held in the new facility; however, some ensembles and choir rehearsals will be held in different venues. The Music Department will notify parents of their daughters' rehearsal venues. Junior School Canteen RefurbishmentAnother Junior School refurbishment has been extremely successful - this time in our canteen facility! Over the school holidays, the Junior School Canteen (soon to be named) received a complete refurbishment. This has transformed the area to function as a fresh-cook kitchen. Parents can also now purchase a hot drink from the new canteen, so please feel free to call in and visit, kindly remembering to sign in and out at Junior School Reception. ![]() Inter-House Cross CountryThe Inter-House Cross Country Carnival will take place this Friday at Alderbury Reserve from 12.00 pm – 3.00 pm. We welcome parents and guardians to attend to support students. Ms Tench, Junior School Sports Co-ordinator, would like to thank the many parents who have offered their support for the Inter-House Cross Country Carnival. We are grateful for our wonderful community members who have volunteered their time. Festival of ScienceTo celebrate Science Week, the PLC Junior School is bringing back the Festival of Science on Wednesday 10 August! Junior School students will spend the day rotating through various science-based activities aimed to encourage an interest in Science. With this year's theme being 'glass', our little scientists will learn what makes certain types of glass invisible, build telescopes, create edible sugar glass biscuits, and much more. Parents are invited to volunteer for a number of these amazing activities. Click the button below to register your interest.
