I’m excited to announce that the draft Strathfield Town Centre Masterplan has been endorsed by Council and will be available for feedback from the 21 September! This significant proposal will transform the future of the Strathfield Town Centre, ensuring its usability for transport, shopping, dining, entertainment and more. I encourage all residents, business owners and visitors to have your say on the plans. There will be a range of opportunities to get involved. Please make sure you are subscribed to the eNews for updates.

Construction works at Hudson District Park have officially started thanks to funding by the NSW Government as part of the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant program (WSIG). Check out our current projects page to read about the final stage of this upgrade including works on the oval and amenities building. I cannot wait to see the finished result! Please note that areas of Hudson Park are still open to the public.

I am excited to share that The Moon Festival is returning to Homebush West on Saturday 26 September! In one month, we'll honour the full harvest moon with a fun-filled program with lion dancers, free kids' activities, delicious eats and live music! Less than 10 days to go until Strathfield Spring Festival!

Strathfield Spring Festival returns on Saturday 5 September 2026 from 10am to 5pm at Strathfield Park! This free-entry community festival offers something for everyone, with carnival rides, market stalls, delicious food vendors, roving entertainment and headline performances throughout the day. 

All three Bluey and Bingo Meet and Greet sessions booked out in record time but that doesn't mean you get to miss out on the fun! There will be 2 Bluey Live Interactive Experiences on stage at 11:20am and 1:15pm.

Animal lovers can enjoy pony rides and a petting zoo, while children can get creative with gardening activities, flower crown making and a unique butterfly enclosure in The Garden. Thrill-seekers can take on the inflatable ninja course, test their skills in parkour and stunt jump workshops, or challenge friends to a game of laser tag. With amusement rides, interactive activities and entertainment across multiple festival zones, there is plenty to keep all ages entertained throughout the day.
