![]() NDIS Check Prosecution Outcome A recent NDIS Worker Screening compliance investigation has led to a prosecution in the Perth Magistrates Court. The accused was fined $4,000 for working while suspended, $500 for failing to notify the NDIS Worker Screening Unit of a change in particulars and ordered to pay an additional $2,500 in court costs. What can registered NDIS providers do to help build a safer workforce? Ensure all your workers are linked to your organisation in the NDIS Worker Screening Database (commonly known as the NWSD). If there is a change in the worker screening status, such as an NDIS Check clearance is suspended, you will receive a notification of the change.
