You will also explore the transformative power of GenAI technologies in creating adaptive, personalized learning experiences meeting the varied needs of learners. 📅 Digital Literacy ChallengeJuly 8 - August 30, 2024 Educators, are you ready to begin your new learning quest? Join us for an eight-week asynchronous challenge to expand your digital literacy toolkit. During this series, you will learn about the eight competencies outlined in the B.C. Digital Literacy Framework, strategies for incorporating these skills into your teaching practice, and how to support student success through digital literacy. You will receive one challenge in your inbox each Monday morning over the course of eight weeks. Each weekly challenge should take between one to four hours to complete, depending on how deeply you want to explore. There will be four optional, synchronous drop-in sessions held over Zoom where you can ask questions and connect with peers in a casual setting. Seeking Submissions💻 Call for Proposals: Digital Learning Strategy ForumOn behalf of BCcampus, the Digital Learning Strategy Forum Program Committee invites you to submit a presentation proposal for the Digital Learning Strategy Forum on November 13-14, 2024, at Simon Fraser University Harbour Centre in Vancouver, B.C. The Forum provides an opportunity to connect with colleagues from across B.C. and discuss key topics related to digital learning. Your participation will help support the development of related provincial initiatives. We invite session proposals focusing on key topics related to the B.C. Post-Secondary Digital Learning Strategy. The deadline to submit is July 2, 2024. Space is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The Equity Sequence training takes place in an online, gamified learning platform and community. The learner encounters informative video content, engages in self-reflection and sharing with the community, and puts their new skill to use on case studies before applying the Equity Sequence to their own work.
