Drop into the library to see our team dressed up as their favourite book characters, enter the kids into our social media competition and join in on the fun- there's plenty of activities to choose from. Our Spring What's On Guides will be available online and for you to pick up in the library from Monday 26 August. This season we will have two guides, one for kids and teens and one for adults. Be sure to grab your copy and book into
any events/programs you'd like to attend during spring. As always, we have a lot going on at our libraries this month and you won't want to miss out! Beth Luppino

Show us your Book Week costumes and WIN!It is Children's Book Week, a week to celebrate nurturing children's curiosity and creativity through reading. To celebrate Book Week, we are holding a Facebook photo competition. We want to see your kids costumes! For their chance to win 1 of 3 Book Packs, here’s what you need to do: - Take a photo of your child dressed as their favourite Book Character in celebration of Children’s Book Week.
- Post your photo as a comment on this Facebook post and tell us their first name and the book character that they are dressed up as.
- Your child will go in the draw to win a Book Pack!

Buildings of Casey Photo CompetitionCalling all photographers - be part of recording the City of Casey as it is now, for future generations. Enter our “Buildings of Casey” photography competition this Spring and help us collect images of the City of Casey current buildings, for tomorrow’s history. Photos
submitted will be kept in our Local History Archive and used for historical projects in the future. Prizes

Moon Festival Chinese English Bilingual StorytimeJoin us for an enchanting Storytime weaving Cantonese, Mandarin, and English tales, in celebration of the Moon/Mooncake Festival 2024.

Study Spaces in the libraryThe Connected Libraries team attended Federation University's open day over the weekend to encourage uni students to sign up to their local library. We also let them know about our study spaces and free resources available to library members. All of our libraries have study spaces available, along with free wifi, public PCs and printing services.

Casey Pet ExpoJoin us at the Casey Pet Expo to meet other local pet owners, socialise your pets, and chat with stallholders showcasing the latest in pet products.

Sarah Speedie Author TalkGo wild this Book Week with local children's author Sarah Speedie! The writer of Boss Cat and Meowster Chef will be sharing her new book and telling us how she writes her hilarious stories.

As winter comes to a close, Endeavour Hills Library and Doveton will be returning to their usual hours, which will be updated here on Monday 1 September. All of our libraries will be closed on Tuesday 10 September for a Staff Development
Day and Friday 27 September for the Grand Final public holiday, but the Digital Library is available 24/7.
