REMINDER: 2023-24 Annual Review
Annual Review (previously known as Site Review and Reporting Process or SRRP) instructions packages were sent to each eligible site during the week of October 30th. Reminder that the deadline to complete activities and send submission packages is March 31st, 2024.
A provincial webinar will take place for site project administrators to discuss the Annual Review activities and ask questions. The provincial webinar is optional and will be recorded for those unavailable to join. The optional webinar is scheduled for Monday November 20th, 2023 from 11am-12pm. FYI: BIPOC Support Group Presentation
Join the BC Physician Health Program for their November BIPOC Peer Support Group on Monday, November 13th, 7:15-8:30pm.
As we all have socially ascribed membership in various groups, we also experience relative differences in power & privilege. This session will explore our various memberships, how they influence our felt sense of oppression, and how compassion for self and others may be useful.

The Providence Health Care Physicians & Surgeons Society invites MSAs from across BC to attend this special virtual event. Please share with your MSA Executive team and other interested medical staff.
Making Stress Leave Less Stressful
Tuesday, November 21
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm via Zoom
Join Drs. Vishal Varshney, Daisy Dulay and Tanya Fairweather, and Ms. Tam Akey for a panel discussion and Q & A on how to address the stigma of medical staff taking medical leave amidst moral injury.
The session will also highlight supports for medical staff leave, and approaches to developing health authority occupational health and safety resources for medical staff.

TIP: FEMS and MSA Email Addresses
Every month, we will feature a timely update on how to use FEMS to your best advantage.
This month we would like to share an update on the FEMS Support ticketing system.
- It has come to our attention that tickets that are being submitted to FEMS support via an MSA website email address are being blocked on the MSA website end. For example if your email is abc@msawebsite.ca, your email will be bounced back and will not reach FEMS support.
- If you are using one of these addresses, please be sure to cc engagement@doctorsofbc.ca on your ticket to ensure that your email is addressed ASAP.
- NOTE: emails from services such as Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, etc. are reaching FEMS support directly.

TIP: PM Helpdesk Lunch and Learn Library
The FCE provincial office, in conjunction with the PM Helpdesk Consultant, Erica Kjekstad, have created a library document of all of the past lunch and learn sessions from 2021 and 2022.
The 2023 library document is now live and will continue to be updated each month with current information.
