July is jam packed at your local Library

July is jam packed with free activities at your favourite library - the School Holiday Program is on, join in on the Warm Winter Reads, sign up to be part of a Book Group, 'Sid the Sloth' Kids Membership Drive, NAIDOC Week events and more!

Our Staff Development Day last week was a success, and we thank you for supporting the closure of the libraries for one day. It has been a long time since our library team all got together in one room – three years in fact! I think it is clear in the picture above how much joy it gave us to see one another and work together as a whole team.

Casey Cardinia Libraries' Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) has been endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, and we are excited to deliver on this plan over the coming months.

Please share the love and tell a friend who might not yet be a library member, they can join up at any of our library branches or online.

Drop into your local library this July, we have plenty to offer and best of all everything is FREE.

Join a Book Group today

Book groups are a great way to meet like minded readers. You can also form your own group with a bunch of friends.

Each month members of the group read a different book, trying new authors and styles of writing.

Rather than going to the added expense of buying a new book each month, book groups can borrow group sets from their local library, so this becomes a free activity...WINNING.

This is a great way to carve out some 'me' time each week.

So what are you waiting for, register today!

This One Takes The Cake..

In today’s episode of Things Found in Library Books, we have this gorgeous note from a young borrower.

Rest assured they were notified that we don’t send out the SWAT team if you damage a book and that the library understands these things can sometimes happen - especially to kids books.

Remember the library is FREE and we do not charge over due fines.
