The lamp carried by Florence Nightingale as she tended to wounded soldiers during the Crimean War (1853-1856), has come to symbolize care in nursing. Historically, the lamp has also been used to represent the enlightenment that comes with knowledge. The purpose of the ceremony is to induct you into the highly respected profession of nursing and provide you with the first opportunity to build a sense of community with your peers and faculty as you commence your academic journey towards becoming a Registered Nurse. This year's ceremony will be held virtually; please keep an eye on your inbox for registration details. Details: Monday, September 21, 2020, 6 PM Questions?
