The Mount Rainier Pool has a special schedule for Labor Day Weekend, including:
✅ A FREE Youth Swim on Sunday (11:30am–1pm)
✅ A 2-for-1 Saturday Swim Special
❌ Pool closure on Monday, September 1 for Labor Day

🚪 Labor Day Closure
The pool will be closed Monday, September 1 for the holiday.
🕒 Weekend Hours
We’ll be open regular hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
🌊 Special Sunday Free Youth Swim
Thanks to support from the Des Moines Legacy Foundation, we’re able to offer FREE Youth Sunday Swims this fall!
📅 Sundays, August 31 – October 25
🕚 11:30am–1:00pm
👧👦 Ages 0–17 swim FREE
Don’t miss the first one this Sunday, August 31!
🎟 Saturday Swim Special – One Fee, More Fun!
Pay once, stay for both — enjoy up to 2.5 hours of pool time!
11:30am–1:00pm: Family Swim (Shallow End) + Lap Swim (Deep End)
1:00–2:00pm: Open Swim (Whole Pool, diving boards & water walk included)
👉 One admission covers both sessions.
📝 Swim Lesson Scholarship Deadline
Reminder: the scholarship application deadline for swim lessons is Friday, September 5.

Our current schedule runs through Monday, August 25 (before swim lessons begin).
The next update takes effect September 15 — we’ll share details in early September.
