FLU SHOTS & COVID BOOSTERS
To help protect the health of our campus community, we encourage families to have their students get flu shots and Covid boosters. We hope you take the opportunity while your students are home to get them vaccinated. Thank you.
SPRING College TOURS for 10th and 11th GRADERS!
Tentative Dates: April 21st - 24th, 2024
We are excited to offer a college tour in the San Diego area. The student group will tour with Pathways Travel for a trip that will be experiential, educational, and fun. Last year’s trip with Pathways was great!
We will tour different types of colleges and universities, from liberal arts to large public research programs. We are considering at least 3 of the following 5 schools:
California State University, San Marcos
San Diego State University
University of California, San Diego
University of San Diego
Point Loma Nazarene University
The trip is limited to 14 students (10th and 11th graders) at a total cost of $1,700. This includes lodging, ground transportation, food, college tours, and an excursion for fun. It does not include airfare. The deposit of $850 is due by January 15. Payment will be made through the business office. More information will be available after sign-ups. The remaining balance of $850 (plus the cost of airfare) will be due by February 15th.

SNOWSPORTS PREPARATION
Students participating in Snowsports please remember to bring your gear. Fresh snow is expected this weekend at Brighton Resort and January 12 - 14 is your first weekend on the mountain. Click here to see the packing list and schedule.

Family-Teacher Conferences will be held using the Meet the Teacher video conference platform on the following dates:

Boys' Orange/Black Basketball
This team is a varsity basketball team in the Utah Schools Sports Association (USSA) league, which is a high school league that is made up of approximately 35 Utah high schools. Watch home games live here!

Equestrian
Our western riders participate in Utah High School Rodeo Association (UHSRA) as well as many local and English events.
Students may participate in the FHPH Horse Show on January 12th and 13th. Entries are due Monday, January 8th. If you have questions, contact Todd Tree, Equestrian Director.
Boys' National Basketball
While students were on break, the team took a 79 to 47 win over Provo High School at home. Juni M. had a game high of 23 points. Go Tigers!

On Friday, February 9th, we look forward to welcoming all families to campus for a peek into the daily lives of your student. You will have opportunities to participate in classes, meals, activities, and meet with the faculty and staff that are active daily in your student's experience here at Wasatch Academy. SPRING BREAK FOR
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort
March 1st - 11th, 2024
International students who find traveling home difficult during the break, there is a supervised excursion on a first-come, first-served basis. The total cost for the week is $1,500. Food, lodging, and transportation are included.
This adventure includes hiking, horseback riding, canyoneering, climbing, mini-golf, paintball, and more.
