Living Well, Even When Life is Limited For 30 years, National Palliative Care Week has helped raise awareness and improve access to palliative care across Australia. This year, from 11–17 May, the theme is “What’s Your Plan?” - a timely reminder to reflect, talk openly about our wishes, and understand what palliative care truly means- to you. Palliative care isn’t about dying - it’s about living well even when faced with a life-limiting illness. Prioritising comfort, dignity, and quality of life, while supporting emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. The value of each aspect is deeply personal and unique to the individual. Palliative care is a shared responsibility - lets continue the conversation, honour those affect and work towards equitable quality care for all Australians. During National Palliative Care Week, PaSCE will be focussing on celebrating and sharing! You will see the following from us:
