Dues collection begins this week

Annual 2026 registration dues will be payable starting this week. All registrants will receive a dues notification on their email address listed in their portal profile. Please make sure yours is up to date. Look for information in College Connections, College Notices and on the website to learn more about dues payment.

Here are a few reminders to consider before paying your dues:

  1. Registrants must submit their 2025 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) statement in order to pay registrant dues for 2026. (Please note that you may enter additional CPD information up to midnight December 31, 2025 for the current year.)
  2. The email address listed in a registrant’s portal profile is the only email address that the College will use for all email communications. Please ensure this address is up to date. If you want to change this email address, please log in here and change it. The College recommends using a personal email address for all College communications to ensure you do not miss important regulatory information.

Submission of CPD statement for 2025

Registrants must submit their 2025 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) statement in order to pay registrant dues for 2026.

Participation in the CPD Program is mandatory for all practicing and in-training registrants, including those registered as on leave.

  • Minimum points/hours: Registrants must complete 100 CPD points of eligible activities over 3 consecutive years (there is a reduced requirement for those registered as on-leave).
  • CPD categories: Eligible activities are defined by categories in the CPD Standard.
  • Claimable points: Maximum annual claimable points per activity and category are set out in the CPD Standard.
  • Indigenous Awareness: Registrants must complete 5 CPD points (hours) of learning about Indigenous Peoples over 3 consecutive years.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Registrants must complete 5 CPD points (hours) of learning about diversity, equity, and inclusion over 3 consecutive years.

Ensuring Compliance with Titles Use and Reserved Practice

The College continues to implement its Reserved Title & Practice Compliance Plan

Proactive research conducted in 2024 and 2025 revealed that approximately 20% of former registrants were still using reserved titles on company websites and LinkedIn, but all infringements were stopped after the College sent notifications. A search of public information – including government directories, company websites, job boards, and social media – for reserved practice compliance found that most stakeholders were aware of the regulations, with a small number requiring additional communication. These stakeholders responded positively, demonstrating a strong understanding of compliance requirements by submitting applications to the College. The College will continue these proactive efforts to ensure compliance, protect reserved titles and practices, and safeguard natural resources.
