18th INTERNATIONAL
COLOUR AWARD WINNER

During May, winners of the 18th International Colour Awards were announced and Sue's photographs has been recognised across two categories.

Her piece "Zen and the Art of Motor Racing"  photographed at Queensland Raceway has won 2nd place, and two of her images in her series "Sleeping Beauties" photographed at Lotus Ponds in Hanoi, Vietnam, have been nominated in the fine art category.

The exhibition presents a variety of landscape and wildlife award-winning photographs mounted on canvas and metal from 2016 to 2025, in a variety of locations that take you from Westernport Bay to the Namib desert in Namibia with a few international stopovers in Ireland and France, and Victorian ones: Lake Tyrrell and Warrnambool. 

In 'Let's Get Dreaming' nothing seems to be like it is supposed to be:  coastlines are sweet and crunchy, rocks and animals rock in the unusual, black and white isn't black and white. It takes you to a different world without leaving Melbourne.

Stef King is an advertising, editorial and portrait photographer in Perth, Western Australia. Her work regularly appears in local and international magazines, advertisements and media campaigns. Stef’s personable, relaxed demeanour, combined with her ability to bring out the inner strength in her subject, has made her one of Australia’s favourite advertising and editorial photographers.

Today she has photographed some of Australia’s best and brightest talents, from politicians and celebrities to athletes and supermodels to everyday people making positive global change.

Harriet Harcourt, a seasoned food professional with over 25 years of experience.. With a Cordon Bleu background, she brings a wealth of culinary skills to her craft, having worked on iconic projects like the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Avatar designing and creating props food.

Harriet’s photography showcases her expertise in food styling, recognised globally with her 2021 Marks & Spencer Food Portraiture win. She offers a unique blend of food & lifestyle photography, food styling, and recipe development.

Ian van der Wolde is a leading commercial photographer based in Melbourne, widely respected for his striking imagery and technical excellence. With decades of experience, Ian is also a specialist in digital colour management and fine art printing—skills that have made him the go-to printer for many photographers preparing work for exhibition. His prints are renowned for their exceptional quality and attention to detail.

Ian’s influence within the industry is reflected in his ambassador roles for brands such as BenQ, Ilford (as both Master Printer and Photographer), Profoto, and X-Rite as a Coloratti. His leadership has also been recognised through his time as National President of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP), where he was honoured with the titles of Honorary Fellow, Fellow, and Master of Photography with 4 Gold Bars.
