More McCalla Professorships 2020-21The Office of Education, FoMD is accepting proposal submissions for the 2020-21 McCalla Professorships. FoMD has been allocated one award for this cycle, and the deadline for submissions is January 31, 2020. Learn more Fall Convocation 2019 marked the receipt of the Governor General's Gold Medal for 2019/20 for two FoMD Graduate Students. Brad Necyk (Psychiatry) - Supervisor: Dr. Pamela Brett-MacLean (with Dr. Andy Greenshaw) We are also very proud of Dr. Pamela Brett-MacLean, Director of the Arts & Humanities in Health & Medicine (AHHM) Program, who has been honoured by a named award, the "Peterkin Brett-MacLean Prize" by the Canadian Association for Health Humanities, supported by an anonymous donor. This prize recognizes the outstanding achievement of a student, resident or fellow in relation to their contribution to CAHH's annual meeting, Creating Space (see more). In recognition of her many contributions to the field of medical/health humanities in Canada, Dr. Brett-MacLean also received a Canadian Association for Health Humanities Award of Achievement, & Honorary Lifetime Membership earlier this year.
