View email for more detailed information... ![]() NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION IS TODAY!SPOTS AVAILABLE AT ALL AGES & LEVELS!Dear Valued Customer, New student registration opens today, and this spring we’re offering our largest selection of available lesson spots yet! Openings are available for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Our affordable swim lessons are led by certified instructors and feature well-structured classes, skill-based progress tracking, and student report cards to help families follow their swimmer’s growth every step of the way. REMAINING CLASSES Click here to view a PDF of the remaining classes. CLASS DATES For the Late Spring, we will offer two 2x/week and two 1x/week option for a total of four class options: (1)Monday and Wednesday evenings,(2) Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, (3) Friday evenings, and (4) Saturday morning class options. *Adult lessons are offered before and after youth group lessons. For Late Spring 2026,, they will continue to be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-6:45 p.m., and Saturdays, 7:45-8:30 a.m. We have added Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-6:45pm. REGISTRATION PROCESS/DAYS Registration priority follows the 1,2,3 system to ensure residents of Des Moines and Normandy Park are prioritized for registration. For New Students, we will have Resident* registration at 5pm and Non-resident at 6:30pm. ONLINE REGISTRATION* Online registration will be available this Spring for ALL students, Current and New. Please visit our Swim Lesson Handbook and follow the instructions for new students. Please do not wait until it is too late to set up your account, perform a swim evaluation* to be place at a higher level, and check to make sure you are properly set up. *The default level for all new registrants is one (1) for all ages. If you are a New Student and interested in registering into a level about Parent & Child 1, Pre-1, or Level 1, you will need to come in for a swim test. See swim lesson handbook for more detailed information. CLASS PRICING The prices below are for an 8-class session. All Winter classes are being offered as an 8-class session. 2026 rates will be effective for these lessons. WAITLISTS & PRIVATE SWIMS We recommend participants sign up for Waitlists. Staff has set spaces between classes to better register participants from waitlists. We also now utilize any unfilled spots with private swims, but we prioritize offering group lessons over private lessons to serve more members of our community. Private lesson (if spots available) updates will be sent out through the email notification system. SWIM LESSON HANDBOOK Check out our current Swim Lesson Handbook. We have streamlined our Swim Lesson page to be easier to follow. We understand some people love more information, so we have put this handbook together for more detailed information. For more information, check out the Swim Lesson Handbook. TRANSLATION (NOW AVAILABLE) The Mount Rainier Pool website and registration portal are now available with Google Translate. Click the button in the bottom right of the Registration Portal to translate to the language of your choice. We also have the Swim Lesson Handbook (and other downloadable pdfs) on our Swim Lesson page translated into the most-spoken languages in the area (Amharic, Arabic, Filipino/Tagalog, Korean, Punjabi, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese). If you need help with having a document translated, email us. FUTURE SCHEDULES/INCREASED OPPORTUNITIES Lessons will expand to include Monday and Wednesday and Tuesday and Thursday mornings in July.
