As I reflect on my first year as chair of Chancellor’s Associates, I am grateful for the many opportunities I have had to meet and engage with our Chancellor’s Associates Scholars. They are a talented and inspiring group of students, many the first in their families to pursue a university education. Hearing their joy as they share their UC San Diego experiences affirms my commitment to help increase support for this important scholarship program that creates pathways for access and social mobility.
This work is only possible through the generosity of our Chancellor’s Associates members and with the leadership of our Chancellor’s Associates Council. I am deeply honored to volunteer alongside such committed alumni, community members, parents, faculty and staff. Together, we are driving educational equity and social change.
When we return to campus in fall, we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Chancellor’s Associates Scholarship Program with special milestones integrated into our programming throughout the academic year. Thank you for your continued support.
