Each month, the VSP Dinner Club's monthly gathering takes us to new restaurants for a social evening. Debra “Debbie” Sonenshine SOAR Sports SOAR Basketball Through February 14 This fun and exciting basketball league provides an opportunity to stay active while enjoying the competition and camaraderie of this fast-paced team sport. Practices are on Tuesdays and games are on select Sundays. Informational & Educational Programs The MJCCA’s Lisa F. Brill Institute for Jewish Learning developed these inclusive classes along with the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning (Melton). Melton Social Justice: An Inclusive Course January 10-February 14 Melton Genesis (Bereshit) Part 1: From Adam to Abraham January 23-April 17 Explore the first book of the Torah — from the creation of Adam and Eve to the story of Abraham and Sarah, including the very first sibling rivalry that ended in murder. Over ten sessions, we’ll discuss multiple universal narratives which serve as the foundation of the Jewish faith. This Melton curriculum has been modified to be inclusive for adults of all abilities.
