Momentum grows in Queensland’s hydrogen sector with the addition
of two more technology clusters

Queensland has signalled its intent in the rapidly growing hydrogen industry with the creation of two further hydrogen clusters in Gladstone and Toowoomba, which join the 13 already-established clusters as part of NERA's Hydrogen Technology Cluster Australia (H2TCA) network.

The Gladstone Engineering Alliance-led Gladstone cluster and the Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise-led Toowoomba cluster will work alongside the already-established H2Q Hydrogen Industry Cluster in Brisbane to boost Queensland's hydrogen industry.

The National Decommissioning Research Initiative (NDRI) has launched an Expression of Interest in preparation for Phase 2 of the Initiative. The project — 'A Roadmap of Decommissioning Research Priorities’ — will undertake a study into the future of decommissioning research in Australia.

HyResource publishes its second report
An update on H2 policy initiatives and projects 

HyResource, an online collaboration between NERA, CSIRO, the Australian Hydrogen Council and the Future Fuels CRC, has published its second report, which covers hydrogen industry policy initiatives and the status of hydrogen projects in Australia.

New online register to help build supply chain resilience
Providing supply chain visibility

The Morrison Government has launched a new industry capability register — known as Capability Connection — aimed at helping Australian manufacturers to quickly and easily connect with suppliers. A six-month pilot of the register is now available for all businesses located in Greater Melbourne, South East Queensland and Townsville.
