miStable Matters Edition 5
As miStable continues growing, so does the team.
Introducing Laura.
From the land of the long white cloud New Zealand, I now call Australia home. My partner and I made the move from Cambridge in the midst of Covid 2021, to take up new and exciting challenges that Victoria offered.
I grew up on a dairy farm in New Zealand, where I was fortunate to have ponies along with many other four-legged friends. When I moved away from home for University I caught the racing bug, and as they say, the rest is history.
Later I moved aboard to the UK and based myself in Newmarket, riding work for Luca Cumani and Sir Micheal Stoute over the course of two years. Travelling with horses to the likes of Goodwood, Wolverhampton and many other race courses. A highlight would be attending Champions Day at Royal Ascot with my friends, and going with the race day vet behind the barriers. The Queen was on course for this day as well, it was like nothing I had ever experienced before.
Returning home from my travels a few years went by, then I was itching to get away again. My partner and I decided Melbourne had everything to offer, he is a jumps jockey and Victoria supported jumps racing the most out of any state in Australia at the time.
I recently came on board with miStable full-time as Account Manager, I am familiar with the platform having used it with previous employment. It’s a user-friendly, comprehensive horse management platform that offers seamless communications, billing, race day nominations and much at the fingertips of trainers and owners.
It’s a one stop shop for all, I look forward to meeting existing clients and introducing new clients to our industry leading horse management platform.
New Features
Horse Report Reminders
Stay on top of owner communication with our new Horse Missing Report feature. View Last 7, 14 or custom to and from date filters. Set either One Time, Recurring, or Smart Reminders based on Horses, Dates or Time. eg. Every Monday at 7am or if you haven't published a report in 10 days.
In App this can be found in the More Menu under Horse Management.
Reply-to Emails
You can now add up to two reply-to emails for Horse Reports, making it easier to keep your team in the loop. To update, just head to Settings > Design and pop in the relevant email addresses.
Pre/Post Race Reports
Using a Pre-Race or Post-Race template in miStable saves valuable time thanks to automatic race information population. When you select a race-specific report, details like the horse’s name, race date, track, distance, and jockey are pre-filled for you. This means you can focus on providing meaningful insights rather than spending time retyping basic information. It also ensures accuracy and consistency across all updates.
By using pre or post race reports instead of a standard horse report, you’re delivering relevant updates faster, with less admin. Plus, the consistent structure builds trust with your owners and makes it easy for them to follow their horse’s progress.
Auto Population of Race Details
Because you have specifically selected your horse race, your report will auto-populate with the race information. The Pre-Race Report will populate with race details, and the Post-Race Report will populate with race results.

Create Report
In the App, quickly access relevant pre/post-race reports by swiping right. Select the Blue button this will create your draft Pre or Post Race Report.
Customise your report
Include text, audio, photo or video to customise your report and add further detail to suit.
Quick Turn-Around
Your owners can be updated within minutes of your horse returning to scale. Record a post-race video with jockey and trainer comments and send it in the app within minutes.

Your website is often the first impression potential owners get, make it count with a miStable Website. Built specifically for you, each site is fully customisable and tailored to reflect your unique brand and operation.

Sell Horse Shares Online via Your miStable Website!
We’re excited to announce that miStable websites will soon support online horse share sales through seamless integration with WooCommerce. The “Horses Available” section will allow potential buyers to purchase shares directly from your website.
All required ownership forms will be automatically completed and sent to the appropriate authorities upon checkout. New owner information will be instantly updated in your miStable dashboard, with their ownership percentage clearly recorded against the relevant horse.
You can also configure automated workflows to perform additional actions — such as adding the buyer as an owner of the horse, enrolling them into a syndicate group, or adding them to a email group — all without lifting a finger.
This feature is designed to simplify your admin, streamline the sales process, and enhance the buying experience for prospective owners.
Thoroughbred Payments in Owner App
Thoroughbred Payments will soon be fully integrated into the miStable Owner App, making it easier than ever for owners to stay on top of their accounts. With a simple tap, owners can view and pay invoices directly from the app, offering a seamless and secure way to manage their racing expenses on the go.
