EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Cook Islands Tourism NZ office is looking into a Christchurch Consumer and Trade Expo and want to gauge interest from the Cook Islands industry before confirming the event.  There would be no cost for you to attend and have a booth, but airfare and accommodation are at your own expense. You will also be required to attend both days to participate. Details are as follows:
SET UP: Saturday 18 September | Afternoon TBC
CONSUMER DAY: Sunday 19 September| 9am - 4pm 
TRADE DAY: Monday 20 September |9am – 1pm

GET LISTED ON OUR WEBSITE 

Are you a holiday home, bed and breakfast, motel, hotel or any other short-term rental accommodation property?We're encouraging all accommodation providers in the Cook Islands to get listed on www.cookislands.travel. 
THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO GET LISTED
1. Complete the Online Supplier Form to get your property listed OR 
2.
Book a 30-minute meeting with a member of the team to get your property listed. All appointments can be made for Tuesday 17th August and Wednesday 18th August from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Email: online@cookislands.gov.ck to book your time now.

 
 
 
 

COOK ISLANDS BUSINESSES URGED TO TAKE LABOUR SURVEY

This is a reminder to Businesses to help us understand the state of the labour shortage in the Cook Islands by participating in this survey. The information gained from the survey will showcase how many staff that businesses had pre-COVID versus TODAY, which may highlight a significant discrepancy for many. Participation is voluntary and you can fill in your details to enter the prize draw to WIN a $1,500 Air New Zealand travel voucher, courtesy of Cook Islands Tourism Corporation. WELCOME TO THE TEAM

We say Kia Orana to Manine Lynch and Poevai Garnier who have joined the Digital Marketing team at Head Office. Manine and Poevai have been brought on as part-time Digital Marketing Coordinators, providing support with content generation and management of our online social platforms. The two young Cook Islanders bring enthusiasm and creativity to the role and are both excited to be working with Cook Islands Tourism and look forward to contributing to the growth and sustainability of tourism within the Cook Islands.

REMINDER, BEFORE YOU DEPART: CONTACT-TRACING

 

Travelling from the Cook Islands to New Zealand 
All passengers travelling to New Zealand, will need to complete the mandatory online Nau Mai Ra contact-tracing form. This is a requirement by NZ Health and Immigration and must be completed before you check-in for your flight. Air NZ check-in staff in Rarotonga will be verifying that you've completed this.

All passengers arriving into the Cook Islands (residents & visitors) must complete the Online Contact Information for travel into the Cook Islands​ form. Please note that this must be completed within 24 hours prior to your flight's departure. Air NZ check-in staff in Auckland will verify that this form is completed.
