A Message from Hayley French, CEO of DomainexAs we reflect on the past year and look ahead, I am pleased to share this latest Domainex newsletter. I continue to be impressed by the strength of our science and the way our teams collaborate to solve complex discovery challenges. Our strategy remains focused on combining deep expertise with innovative technologies to deliver high-quality, integrated solutions for our partners and to support the continued growth of the business. Creating opportunities to share knowledge, challenge ideas, and connect across disciplines is central to that approach. This spirit was clearly reflected in our recent Science Uncorked event, which brought together Domainex scientists and the wider community to showcase the breadth of our capabilities and the progress we are making. I hope you enjoy reading more about the discussions and insights that emerged from the day. Science Uncorked 2025Science Uncorked, held on 27th November at Unity Campus in Cambridge, brought together Domainex scientists and the wider life-science community to share insights into early drug discovery. Through short talks, panel discussions, and poster presentations, the event highlighted how automation, AI, chemistry, and biophysics are being combined to tackle challenging targets and accelerate Lead Discovery. Key themes included direct-to-biology workflows, advances in membrane protein research, covalent screening, and emerging modalities such as molecular glues and RNA-targeted small molecules. The afternoon also offered a relaxed opportunity to connect with the Domainex team over drinks and conversation. Overall, Science Uncorked showcased the collaborative spirit and innovation behind Domainex’s approach to modern drug discovery. Domainex and Pharmacelera Join Forces to Accelerate Discovery of Molecules Targeting Transmembrane ProteinsIn August we announced a strategic collaboration with Pharmacelera, a pioneer in AI-based molecular modelling technologies, focused on transmembrane proteins implicated in a broad range of diseases.
