ALIA National Storytime 2022

Celebrate ALIA National Simultaneous Storytime 2022 at Strathfield Council Library and Innovation Hub. This year includes a reading of 'Family Tree' written by Josh Pyke, songs and a special craft activity.

Rewind Your Fast Fashion

Is your wardrobe bursting? Clear it out and give your pre-loved items a fresh start by donating them at the Red Cross Donation Day. Only good quality items will be accepted.

Driving Range Update

The poles for the netting on the eastern side of the range will be installed next week. Following that, the netting and synthetic grass will be installed. All on track for re-opening by the end of June!

Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month

Cystic fibrosis is the most common life shortening recessive genetic disease in Australia. There is currently no cure, and a young person dies of cystic fibrosis every 9 days. Strathfield Council will be lighting up the Town Hall on Friday 27 May in red, to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis and in support of Cystic Fibrosis Community Care (CFCC).

Art Therapy with St. Merkorious

Be guided by our professional therapists and use art as a medium of expression to improve your mental, physical and emotional state. No art experience is needed and all materials are provided.

Grants for Edible Gardens

The Sydney Edible Garden Trail is offering grants of up to $1,500 to buy plants, soils and infrastructure for edible gardens. The grants are open to schools and community groups in metro Sydney, and applications close on 31 May.
