Draft standards now out for consultation
The following draft Import Health Standards are now out for consultation:
- Draft import health standard for microorganisms, biological products derived from animals, and cell lines – MPI
- Draft import health standard for specified animal products for human use – MPI

Sea freight queue
For this week, sea freight lodgement turnaround is estimated at 3 days.
On Monday 29 June, morning, the total sea freight queue (includes Australian lodgements) stood at 258 lodgements and TET were processing lodgements due Tuesday at 7:18am.
Last week: average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 12:24hrs (previous week 11:11hrs) and for second submissions 1:10 hrs (previous week 1:05hrs)
Airfreight queue
For the coming week, air freight lodgement turnaround is estimated 2 hours
On Monday 29 June, morning, there were 3 airfreight lodgements in the queue and TET were processing lodgements due Monday at 10am.
Last week: average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 0:23 hrs (previous week 0:28 hrs) and for second submissions 0:15 hrs (previous week 0:28 hrs).
Australia queue
On Monday 29 June, morning, there were 55 Australian specific lodgements in the queue and TET were processing lodgements due Tuesday at 8am
Last week:
Average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 0:23 hrs (previous week 0:23hrs) and for second submissions 0:19 hrs (previous week 0:17hrs).
Average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 11:10hrs (previous week 9:19hrs) and for second submissions was 0:58hrs (previous week 0:54hrs).
