Grapes that have been pre-inspected offshore

Please remember to advise MPI of pre-inspection status when grapes have undergone inspection before arriving in New Zealand. Preferably include a copy of the pre-inspection report or, if this is not available, let us know by submitting a comment on your application.

Updating your TSW application with more information required for MPI

If you are updating your application with more information for MPI there are a couple of options depending on the situation. You can either:

  • ·Add a comment for MPI and make no other changes to the entry (this includes removing documents or changing anything for Customs). If you make other changes to the entry this will prevent the consignment from coming into the MPI active queue to be processed.
  •  Submit a new document AND make a comment. This will ensure the consignment comes into our active queue. Use this option if you are making any other changes to the entry (eg for Customs purposes) at the same time.
