This issue of the newsletter highlights the latest immunization-related activities conducted by WHO/Europe together with health authorities in Member States and partners in line with the strategic priorities agreed on by Member States in the European Immunization Agenda 2030 (EIA2030).*

European Immunization Week 2025

European Immunization Week 2025 | 27 April - 3 May 2025

The WHO European Region celebrates European Immunization Week each year to promote awareness of the importance of immunization in preventing diseases and protecting life. This year's EIW highlighted the urgent need to achieve high and equitable vaccination coverage in every community to prevent outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases under the theme “Immunization for all is Humanly Possible”.
