Equity Diversity Inclusion Analyst

To support increased workforce inclusion of people with disabilities/diverse abilities at UBC Sauder School of Business, BC WiN is now recruiting for an Equity Diversity Inclusion Analyst (EDI Analyst).  This is a new position in the organization, responsible for creating and implementing innovative plans to continue to foster equity, diversity and inclusion throughout UBC Sauder.

Highlight of Preferred Qualifications 

  • Substantive knowledge and ability to participate comfortably in discussions on equity, diversity, inclusion using current discourse (e.g., anti-oppression, social justice, inter-culturalism, feminism, critical race theory, disability studies, queer studies, decolonization etc.), while remaining open to new and challenging ideas.
  • Sound knowledge of federal and provincial human rights and employment policy and legislation relevant to diversity, inclusion and equity.
  • Proven experience and demonstrated knowledge in the development and implementation of educational programs and campaigns related to equity, inclusion and diversity.
  • Strong interest and/or grounding in dialogue and conflict resolution theory and practice, and ability to develop and implement educational programs and campaigns to build the capacity of faculty, staff and students in these areas.
  • Advanced skills in public speaking and group facilitation and familiarity with a range of facilitation methods and approaches.
