Boston College
Civic Engagement Initiative

Dear Students,

Today is National Voter Registration Day.  All U.S. citizens over the age of 18, have the right to vote.

Boston College encourages every student to be an engaged citizen by exercising your right to vote. As many of you may already know, Student Affairs has partnered with TurboVote to provide you with the information and materials you need to vote in every election from local to presidential. TurboVote allows you to easily register to vote online, verify or update your voter registration, request an absentee ballot form by mail, and sign up for text and/or e-mail election reminders. You may learn more and sign up for this free service by stopping by the Quad today until 5:00 p.m. to register for TurboVote and learn more about BC Votes, an initiative designed to encourage voter registration for the upcoming midterm elections.

As a student at Boston College, you have the choice where to register to vote, and whether you vote in Massachusetts or another state, we encourage you to take advantage of this resource.

In addition to voting, there are many civic engagement opportunities that you can get involved with on campus. View the university calendar for upcoming events.

Sincerely,

The Boston College Civic Engagement Initiative
