March 31 Schedule Update

Now Open Weekdays at 6am

Dear Valued Customer/Community Member,

Mount Rainier Pool is expanding its operating hours to better serve the community. Starting March 31, the pool will open at 6:00 a.m. on Weekdays (Mondays thru Fridays), and will also be open on Sundays, providing greater flexibility for early morning and weekend swimmers.

EXPANDED SCHEDULE

Now open seven days a week, including early mornings on select weekdays.

EARLY MORNINGS: The pool will now be open at 6am on weekdays Monday through Friday mornings starting Tuesday, April 1. (Note-This now includes Tuesday and Thursday mornings.)

Check out our upcoming $1 Swims, including a New $1 Senior Thursday (April 3) and $1 Open Swim on Saturday, April 5. See below for more detailed information.

Don't forget that children swim free at all programs, so feel free to bring your children and grandchildren in to swim.

As an indoor facility adjacent to Mount Rainier High School, Mount Rainier Pool offers a wide array of aquatic programs suitable for all ages and skill levels. These include American Red Cross-certified swim lessons, lap swimming, water exercise classes, water walking, and family swim sessions. The pool also hosts special events throughout the year, such as PTSA nights and themed swims, fostering a strong sense of community engagement.

KIDS SWIM FREE

Kids Swim Free is available for all youth ages 18 and younger. This is free for all family and open swims, and lap swims. Bring your kids in, or come in for a swim anytime.

Do you want to try the Mount Rainier Pool out including lap swim, water exercise and/or water walking. Join us for $1 Senior First Thursday, which now includes access all day including our earlier starting time, 6am.

FIRST SATURDAY OPEN SWIM

Need an affordable fun family event next weekend? This is just a reminder that this Saturday, April 5 Open Swim is from 1-2pm. Open Swim includes access to the entire pool including diving boards and the water walk in the deep end.

LIFEGUARD CLASS

APRIL 7-11, 11am-4pm - $299*

DEADLINE: APRIL 4th

Are you looking for a fun job with flexible hours in a great atmosphere? The Mount Rainier Pool is offering a lifeguard certification course. The course is free to those that are willing to commit to work at the Mount Rainier Pool, and will receive priority for spots in the class. Please see email below for class times, fees and other pre-requisites or email us for any questions or to sign up.

All class members who complete the course will receive an American Red Cross Professional Lifeguard Certification. This certification is the most accepted lifeguarding certification around the country.
