National Cancer Plan England 2025 – Consultation OpenThe UK Government has launched a public consultation to shape England’s National Cancer Plan 2025, aiming to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes, especially for rare and childhood cancers. Announced on World Cancer Day by Health Secretary, Wes Streeting, the plan prioritises early diagnosis, access, prevention, treatment, and research. Cancer charities welcome the initiative, emphasising patient voices. BLOGFebruary is always an important month for Neuroendocrine Cancer UK. It is the month of World Cancer Day and Rare Disease Day which gives us the perfect opportunity to talk about the unmet needs of this misunderstood cancer. World Cancer Day 2025-27's theme is “United by Unique" and puts people at the heart of cancer care. ![]() ![]() ![]() On Friday 14th March, a Private Members Bill for Rare Cancers is due its second reading in Parliament. The aim of the Bill is to promote, encourage and support research in rare cancers - and for individuals better access and inclusion into clinical trials. MPs usually travel back to their constituencies on a Friday - so we need your help to encourage your local MP to stay, attend the reading, and add their support for this Bill.
