Apart from the NaturallyGC Kids School Holiday Program, there is a range of adult activities you can be involved in. The City's Discover Summer campaign has collaborated all the best things to do this summer on the Gold Coast.

 

Whether you’re chasing waterfalls, exploring hidden bars, or feasting on fresh produce, summer is all about discovering the very best our backyard has to offer.

Join the Friends of the Gold Coast Regional Botanical Gardens to explore the gardens and learn about conservation through their Kids in Conservation workshops.  

Kids in Conservation: Nature’s Treasure Hunt. Monday 19 December 2022 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Explore the Botanic Gardens in this nature guided activity and discover nature's treasures. Treasure comes in all colours, sizes and textures so you'll need clues and a sharp eye to hunt for them. Cost: $5.00 per child. Suitable for 5 - 12 years only. More information and to book. 

Kids in Conservation: Living with Cold Blood! Tuesday 10th January 2023 9:00AM - 10:30AM

How does life work if you're cold-blooded? Where do you get your energy to live? Find out in this guided activity and explore the Botanic Gardens to search for reptiles and invertebrates. Cost: $5.00 per child. Suitable for 5 - 12 years only. More information and to book.

Kids in Conservation: Show a Little Kindness to Nature. Tuesday 17 January 2023 9:00AM  - 10:30AM

Learn how to have a gentle hand with nature by talking about plant lives, examining growing trees & flowers. Look at the littlest of lives during a bug hunt, appreciate the amazing strength of ants & learn how minibeasts have BIG impacts in nature. Suitable for 5 - 12 years only. Cost: $5.00 per child. More information and to book.

Did you know some of the Pokemons live in the Burleigh Rocky Shores? Come and join us on our rocky shore and sea slug pokemon search and receive your own set of (unofficial) pokemon cards to find the local marine powered pokemons!

Come and join us for the day to meet our marine biologists and learn about all things marine wildlife and marine science. You will help us record marine data and learn how you can become a marine biologist when you grow up.
