Dear Class of 2030,

Welcome to the start of your first semester at Boston College! As your Vice President for Student Affairs, I am thrilled to welcome you to our community.

As you settle in, I encourage you to take advantage of upcoming events like this Friday’s Student Involvement Fair, followed by Wellfest, Taste of Off Campus, and the Mass of the Holy Spirit and Convocation. The Career Center is also sponsoring a series of events this week and throughout fall semester. Keep building on your Cura conversations and reflect on who you want to become during your time on the Heights.

Adjusting to college life is both exciting and overwhelming, so please remember that our entire division is here to support you. You are also welcome to drop by my open office hours on Thursdays from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in Maloney 412.

Mass of the Holy Spirit: The Boston community gathers as a whole to ask God's blessings on all it does throughout the new academic year.  The Mass is held at noon on Thursday, September 10, 2026, on the plaza in front of the O'Neill Library.  In case of inclement weather, the Mass will move to Conte Forum. Classes are canceled from noon to 1:15 p.m.
