It's hard to believe we're heading into Fall Break soon and students are registering for next semester's classes. I'm also staying busy writing letters of recommendations for both PhD and job applications, knowing that each of you will take your own path. I do want to point to the job listing below because it would be great to have an MFA alum in the Office of Graduate Education here. There are also positions at Chapman U for a web developer, an event coordinator, and a public relations coordinator that involves research and monitoring of media. I also want to remind all current MFA students to submit to the AWP Intro Journals Project. The submissions need to follow the guidelines and be sent to me by November 19. If you didn't get those guidelines, please contact David Krausman. Have a good November holiday! Take care, all—and read on for more to celebrate and opportunities too! —Dr. Anna Leahy, Director of MFA in Creative Writing We're also thrilled to announce that the Chapman MFA Creative Writing social media platforms have been updated—and we're launching NOW! Follow us on ALL socials @ChapmanCWMFA and engage with us to discover writing prompts, commiserate about school, learn about literature, find submission opportunities, and more!
