Senior School NoticesTERM 4 WEEK 2Dear valued member of the PLC community, On Tuesday night, our parents of Year 7 to 9 students were invited to a presentation by ySafe focussing on cyber safety. It provided parents with tips on how to help their daughters navigate their technology use. For any parents who were unable to attend, there are a plethora of resources available on the PLC Scotch Online Safety Hub. This includes examples of technology agreements along with easy-to-read deep dives on many of the popular apps our young people are using today. Thank you to Ms Soni Bailey, Year 9 Pastoral and Academic Co-ordinator, for organising this informative evening. Valedictory Service & DinnerLast Thursday, we celebrated the Class of 2022 at their Valedictory Service, followed by a Valedictory Dinner. It was a terrific way to highlight the contribution they have made to PLC, wish them well as they embark on their next adventures, and remind them that they will always be able to call PLC home. Induction Service for Student Leaders 2023On Monday, we recognised the Class of 2023 as our new student leaders of the College. While we acknowledged those students with official positions, we also acknowledged our Year 12 students who are not office bearers. We know that all our Year 12 students play an integral role in leading the College and a big congratulations to the Class of 2023 for this milestone.
