Dear Eagles,

It’s hard to believe October is almost upon us! There are still some exciting events for Hispanic Heritage Month that we invite everyone to explore! This week, Campus Ministry is hosting information sessions about their service immersion program, Appa. Tickets are still available for the ALC Ball (10/3), and the Boston College Entrepreneurship Summit kicks off on Saturday,10/4! Looking ahead, we want to encourage you to save the date for the Career Center’s Social Change, Policy & Non-Profit Networking Night (10/23).

Additionally, as you consider taking care of yourself, we would like to remind you that the Murray Center for Student Wellness offers a variety of spaces that can be reserved for online telehealth appointments (see more information below).

Finally, be sure to support our Men’s Hockey team at home this Friday, 10/3, in Conte Forum! Have a great week, and Go Eagles!

Yours in Community,

Grace Abounds in Sin City: The Astounding Growth of the Church in Las Vegas
Wednesday, October 1 | 5:30-7:00

Following his appointment to the Diocese of Las Vegas, Archbishop George Leo Thomas proposed a blueprint for moving the Diocese into the future. The pastoral blueprint, largely drawn from the vision and values of the Second Vatican Council, has resulted in dynamic parishes, standing room only Masses, a highly engaged laity, and a deep sense of shared responsibility among clergy and lay leadership alike.  The Archbishop describes the elements of that plan during his evening lecture here at Boston College.
