ASSEMBLY STARTS WITH TRIVIA!
Every Tuesday, all students and faculty gather for Assembly which is run by STUCO (our student council). These 30 minutes together are filled with important information for the week, learning opportunities like sharing about a country represented in our student body, and a message from Dr. Williams, head of school.
TRAVEL PLANS NEED
Please note the travel dates when planning your students flights. We will provide transportation to and from Salt Lake Airport so it's important that you provide us their flight information by completing the Travel Forms. For help with travel arrangements, please reach out to Abbi Kennedy, Travel Coordinator. Please submit the travel forms to Abbi with your student's Thanksgiving Break travel plans by this Friday, November 10th. SNOWSPORTS
Snow is coming! Sign up your skiers/snowboarders for our Snowsports program. Our two options are the ten weekend Recreation Program and a three weekend "Just for Fun". Click here for details on these programs. This information includes cost, dates and what is included. As time and snow permits, we will also visit our Wasatch Academy Terrain Park on the Wasatch Plateau about 30 minutes from campus. Please email Snowsports Coach, Chris

2nd ANNUAL SANPETE CHALLENGE:
EDUCATION vs HUNGER
November 6th - November 13th
The five high schools in Sanpete County plus Snow College are competing to see who will raise the most in donations for the Sanpete Food Pantry. As a group, the high schools competing against Snow College. Each $2 donation covers the Food Bank's cost to provide a meal to a Sanpete County resident. Kid Packs feed a child for a weekend for around $10 each.
Our student government (STUCO) is leading our students' efforts to raise money for the local community. Please support them by making a donation.

WINTER SPORTS
For the up-to-date schedule go to the Athletic and Recreation calendar. Students that want to participate on any of the winter teams should sign up as their Trimester 2 Activity Period. The deadline for sign up is Thursday, November 9th.
Boys' 2A/OB Basketball
Practices began on Monday, November 6th. Their first games are on Friday, November 17th.
Boys' National Basketball
On November 24th and 25th, over Thanksgiving Break, our team will play in the Holiday Hoopsgiving in Atlanta, GA. Visit their website for details and streaming information.

Boys' Volleyball

FLY UTAH IMMERSION

Students will visit Hill Airforce Base, Point of the Mountain in Lehi, and Fairview Canyon to learn about: Flying planes Flying helicopters Paragliding Kite skiing/boarding
Fine print: No actual flying is involved!
Students on the Pawsitive Impact Immersion put in some hard work last weekend helping animals in shelters and rescue facilities.
FORMAL DINNER WITH ADVISORS
Monday, December 11th
Students will join their advisors and peers for dinner, to take pictures with friends, and celebrate the many holidays of the season before Winter Break. This is a formal dinner and students are encouraged to dress for the occasion. Formal attire such as slacks, dresses, sports coats, ties, skirts, business casual shirts, and the like are ideal. Please encourage your students to have something special to wear!
FAMILY DAY

On Friday, February 9th, we look forward to welcoming all families to campus for a peek into the daily lives of your student. Starting at 7:45am, you will have opportunities to participate in classes, meals, activities, and meet with the faculty and staff that are active daily in your student's experience here at Wasatch Academy.
