💡 5 Ways to Get Ready for On-Campus Recruitment this Fall

Welcome back! With the start of the new academic year, we know finding your next summer or EIT position may not be top of mind just yet.

However, many employers start recruiting for their May 2027 engineering opportunities now, making September one of the best times to connect and engage with prospective employers.

To ensure you don’t miss out, here are five things you can do:

• Visit us at Career Studio this Wednesday, September 2, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. in ETLC E2-040 to learn about upcoming recruitment and networking opportunities.

• Mark your calendar for September 23, and prepare to make the most of Careers Day by attending one of our upcoming “How to Wow” workshops. 

• Register for upcoming employer information sessions, networking events, and professional development opportunities that align with your interests.

Robotics & Intelligent Systems Expo (RISEx 2026)

🗓️ Call for Papers: Sept. 4   |   Event Dates: Nov. 12-13, 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.

The 3rd Robotics & Intelligent Systems Expo (RISEx 2026) is coming back, a premier gathering of researchers, academics, and industry professionals in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence. 

Some highlights of RISEx 2026 include:

• Keynote speeches by leaders of industry and academia
• Technical presentations on cutting-edge research
• Workshops and industry exhibition
• Networking opportunities

RISEx 2026 will accept single-page archival paper submissions to showcase the latest ongoing research in robotics and AI. Submissions will be reviewed by the conference’s program committee and awarded either a poster or an oral presentation.
