REGISTRION INFORMATION!
SATURDAY SWIM LESSONS
Dear Valued Customer,
Sign-up for the next session of Saturday swim lessons (see registration information below). We still require vaccination verification, but we will allow showering and lockers before and after your child's lesson. See below for more information.
- CURRENT STUDENT LEVELS: On Saturday, December 11, your instructor should tell you your child's next level of lessons. If you miss the opportunity to talk to the instructor, please call Quentin at contract information at the bottom of this message.
- VACCINATION VERIFICATION: All swimmers and spectators, 12 and older will be required to present proof of vaccination verification. People who are unvaccinated or cannot prove vaccination status will be required to show proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test in the last 72 hours or a rapid test result from a test performed by a testing provider on site at the event just prior to entry.
- PARENTS: All spectators must follow social distancing in the stands.
- SHOWERS/LOCKERS: Showering and lockers are available before and after swim lessons.
- NON-COMPLIANCE: Anyone not complying with requirements will be asked to leave, removed from future lessons and will not receive a refund/credit.
All spots are first-come, first-served! We only allow in-person or over the phone registration to ensure people are entered into the right lesson for their ability. This effects not only the individual, but the entire class. If you are unsure about something, or need additional questions, staff is here to help. - New Student Registration opens Tuesday, December 21, 4:00pm

Scholarship Pre-Approval Event - Monday, December 13, 4:00-6:00pm
The District will have staff available to help you get pre-approved on Monday, December 13 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Mount Rainier Pool. Please complete the documents and bring them and your financial aid documentation to the meeting, so you will be pre-approved for swim lesson registration.

Scholarships of up to 90% are also now available and are available to non-residents. In 2021, the District has allocated over $18,000 in scholarships. Also, scholarships now include non-residents of Des Moines and foster children. For more information click link below.

Weekday swim lessons, adult lessons and other updates coming in Winter 2022!
The District will announce Winter and Spring swim lessons in early 2022. We are working to build up our programming.
