What a fantastic start to the EMTC Club Championships weekend! We’ve got plenty to celebrate and a few exciting updates to share:

What an amazing weekend for our juniors! Competing in the WDTA grand finals, they brought their A-game and it paid off – 5 teams took home the premiers' pennant and 3 teams finished as runners-up! A huge round of applause for their dedication, skill, and teamwork all season!

The first weekend of Club Champs was a huge success! Congratulations to all our players who have progressed through to this coming weekend.

Saturday’s schedule runs from 9am to 4pm, with the Men’s Open Final at 3:30pm. The Women’s Open Final will be on Sunday at 1:00pm.

We invite everyone to the club this coming weekend to cheer on family and friends – the more support, the better the rallies! It’s a perfect chance to bring the family, catch up, and celebrate the end of a fantastic WDTA winter season. EMTC will provide a sausage sizzle, drinks are at bar prices, and you’re welcome to bring extra food or soft drinks to share.

Organised by the WDTA Mid-Week Ladies Division, all proceeds go to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. The action will be on Courts 1–6 from 9:30am – come along to watch and support!

Hard rubbish collection is booked for Tuesday, 7 October – our carpark will be squeaky clean in no time!

Due to Club Champs, Sunday Social has relocated to Courts 7–10 this week.

Keep your eyes peeled for announcements on EMTC's Christmas Party, upcoming tournaments, match play opportunities, and social events. We’re hoping to serve up a few surprises – it’s going to be ace!
