This weekend marked the final weekend of the 21-22 season and the 60th year of skiing on Tod Mountain. With celebrations all season long, things ended on a high note with Wonder Weekend Celebrations, a nod to a classic spring festival at Sun Peaks in the 70’s. This wasn’t the only thing celebrated this winter though, as we saw the return of our overseas friends and families as they were re-united on the slopes, making it a memorable season for many. However, with winter coming to an end and summer just around the corner, our mountain community is already hard at work preparing for the next season. The golf course crew is clearing snow from the greens and the lower hike and bike trails will be ready for eager bikers and hikers in a few weeks. We have a lot of exciting news to share with you so please reach out anytime. Sun Peaks has not taken their foot off the gas, improving guest experiences and introducing new options. I look forward to seeing some of you in person at Rendezvous Canada in May! Cheers, Colin Bike Park Expansion This summer, Sun Peaks is changing the game. Mountain bikers who challenge (or aspire to challenge) the bike park are about to experience developments that will forever change the dynamic of biking in Sun Peaks. The Sun Peaks Bike Park is expanding to an entirely new mountain this summer, opening a second chairlift for downhill mountain biking along with 19km of new downhill trails. Additionally, there’s 12km of new, cross country and enduro style pedal access trails on Morrisey this summer. An Axe-citing New Experience: Cleavage Axe Co.
