Dear Eagles, This week I’ve highlighted some exciting programming across Student Affairs including Social Impact Careers Week and Endeavor (Sophomores, there is still time to sign up!), the BAIC Jamaica Magis Service Immersion Trip, Spectrum and Prism, and coming soon, Love Your Body Week, through the Women's Center. Looking ahead, Halloween is right around the corner! CAB and BC Dining have organized a variety of events to help you get in the spirit starting with Buried Alive tonight. As a reminder, I encourage you to be mindful about your choices of costumes. Some Halloween costumes reinforce stereotypes of particular races, genders, cultures, or religions. Regardless of intent, these costumes can perpetuate negative stereotypes, causing harm and offense to groups of people. I wish you all the best as we head into our last week of October!
