NAIDOC Week 2026 - 50 Years Deadly

This Sunday marks the beginning of National NAIDOC Week. Celebrated across Australia each July, NAIDOC Week recognises the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It’s a time for all Australians to learn, connect with and celebrate the world’s oldest continuing cultures.

This year's theme, 50 Years of Deadly, celebrates the strength, pride and achievements of First Nations communities, honouring generations of Elders, leaders and changemakers. It reflects both how far we’ve come and the strong future ahead, grounded in culture and community.
