Book Week, Science Week and a Generous Donation to the Library

There’s a real buzz in our libraries where you’ll find people reading, learning, working, relaxing and discovering everything we have to offer.

August is shaping up to be an exciting month, with a range of programs and events for all ages. We’re celebrating both Children's Book Week and Science Week with author visits, a costume competition and hands-on science activities that the kids will love.

For adults, we’re running Code Club for Parents, as well as creative writing workshops in partnership with Writers' Victoria—just a few of the many ways we support lifelong learning and skill-building in our community.

If you haven’t visited us in a while, now is the perfect time. Join the library for free, explore our collections and book into one of our upcoming events.

Please note that all Connected Libraries locations will be closed on Tuesday 9 September for a Staff Development Day. Our return chutes and Digital Library remain open 24/7.

See you at the library!

Generous Donation from City of Casey Locals

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to long-time library supporters Robin and Arnis, who have made a generous donation to Connected Libraries.

Thanks to their incredible support, we’re able to:
🔹 Provide 9 laptops and Wi-Fi dongles for members to borrow free of charge
🔹 Create hands-on learning experiences in areas like coding, design, and craft

Robin said; “We hope it helps people learning English or starting to use technology.”

This donation is already making a meaningful difference, helping to bridge the digital divide and support lifelong learning across our community.

Do you want to help create more opportunities for your local community?
