2026-2027 Joint WHO African Region/TDR Impact Grants
for Implementation Research for Regional Priorities

Call for applications

Deadline for submission: 15 September 2026 (17:00 CEST)

 

We are pleased to share a new call for applications launched jointly by TDR and the WHO Regional Office for Africa (AFRO). This initiative aims to strengthen health research capacity in developing countries and support implementation research that can help deliver high-quality, cost-efficient health care solutions to people living in resource-poor settings.

The call seeks to facilitate and strengthen public health-oriented implementation research. Supported activities may complement work funded by other stakeholders interested in these research areas.

Proposals may be submitted in English, French or Portuguese through the eTDR portal.
