Dear friend,

Thank you so much! Your generous support made "Making Connections 2024" our most successful fundraiser yet, raising nearly $108,000!  This was our first in-person event since 2019, and it was a remarkable success because of you. 

Our theme for the evening,“Craving Connection" truly encapsulated the spirit of the event. It was our evening's anthem. It was a pleasure to see new friendships forming and old ones rekindling over delicious food and drinks. 

The evening culminated with a story from Michael Orange, a Lift UP Resident Advocate. He shared how having consistent access to nutritious food supported him through challenging times. He also discussed the joy and feeling of community that Supper Club cooking classes bring to residents of the Roselyn Apartments. Michael's efforts to strengthen a sense of community where he lives perfectly illustrate our motto: "Food Brings Us Together.” 

We are grateful for the myriad of ways our Lift UP community continues to show up. Your unwavering support fuels our mission and will make food security a reality for even more of our Portland neighbors.
