Warm Holiday Wishes from the Clinical Trials Office (CTO)

Dear Colleagues and Partners,

As we close out 2025, I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of you. To our investigators, coordinators, research teams, Research Ethics Office, Research Administration Services, the Centres and Institutes we work with, Office of Research, Alberta Cell Therapy Manufacturing (ACTM), Canadian BioSample Repository (CBSR), our incredible colleagues in the Clinical Investigation Units, Research Pharmacy, the APL Clinical Trials Lab, and NACTRC. What a year it has been, and what an exceptional community we have the privilege of working alongside.

Thank you for your hard work, patience, perseverance, good humour, and commitment to doing things well, even when the path wasn’t always straightforward. Whether we were navigating new processes, tackling complex protocols, onboarding new systems, supporting participants, or juggling the unexpected (because there is always something unexpected), you continued to show up with professionalism, creativity, and collaboration.

The CTO is genuinely grateful for your trust and partnership. Everything we accomplished this year, we accomplished together. You make this ecosystem something special, and we feel lucky to support the important work you lead every day.

As we head into the holiday break, my wish for each of you is simple: rest, warmth, coziness, and time with the people (and pets) you love most. I hope you find many moments of peace (and quiet), laughter, and joy.

When 2026 arrives, we’ll be ready. It will be busy, and full of opportunities, some of which none of us can see yet. I’m looking forward to working with all of you as we continue to grow, strengthen, and learn together.
