THROWBACK THURSDAYThe Queen’s Cup As we mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we can remember the contribution made by a young Strathfield lady to the celebrations following her coronation. Judith suggested that the Company repeat the gesture for the new queen. A competition was held for the design and Queen Elizabeth II was presented with the Queen’s Cup, worth £500, at a banquet after her Australian tour in 1954.
