📸 Marketing Visits to Summer School Classes

As part of our summer marketing activity, some classes have been flagged for visits to capture promotional video and imagery content. These visits will take place based on our team’s availability, and we’ll always ask your permission before filming or borrowing students briefly.

If there’s a particularly good time to visit your class—such as a presentation, student showcase, or a display —please let us know! Contact Mimi at m.jones@arts.ac.uk and we’ll do our best to come at a time that suits your session.

Some students have already been contacted by the marketing team to arrange short interviews. Again, we will always check with you first to ensure the timing works.

🏆 Summer Competition – Win a Free Short Course!

This summer, we’re running a competition inviting short course students to share their creative journey and summer school experience for the chance to win a free short course.

Please encourage your students to take part! Not only could they win this fantastic prize, but the content they generate also helps us promote the course and inspire future students.

Here’s how they can enter:

Create content that reflects their UAL Short Course experience
Post it on Instagram or TikTok, tagging @UALShortCourses or using the hashtag #UALshortcourses.

Two winners will be chosen: one at the end of July, and one at the end of August.

What they can submit:

A video diary of their course
Behind-the-scenes clips of their creative process
A review or summary of their course experience
A photo series or video showcasing their work or outcomes

📝 Tutor Survey – We’d Love to Hear from You

We’re inviting all short course tutors to complete our anonymous Microsoft Forms survey. It should take no more than 6 minutes to complete, and your honest feedback is incredibly valuable to us. Link to survey: UALSC Tutor Survey 25

The survey includes space for you to comment on recent changes, share examples of good practice, and answer some quick “how likely are you to…” questions.

Responses will be collected through to November, allowing us to hear from both Summer School and term-time tutors. We’ll share a summary of the results—along with any resulting actions—in early 2026.
